A free tool called Dependency Walker scans any 32-bit or 64-bit Windows module (such as an exe, dll, ocx, or sys) and creates a hierarchical tree diagram of every dependent module. It lists all the functions that are exported by each module that are discovered, along with which of those functions are actually called by other modules. A different view shows the bare minimum set of necessary files along with comprehensive details about each file, such as the complete path to the file, the base address, version numbers, the type of machine it is running on, debug information, and more.
